Paumanok PTA In-House Committees

Membership - Volunteers needed to assist with yearly PTA                                           membership drive.

Newsletter -   Paumanok's monthly PTA newsletter.  Volunteers                                      needed to help coordinate Paumanok news items.

Gift Wrap -          PTA fundraiser.  Volunteers needed to help                                             coordinate the sale and distribution of merchandise.

Fall Festival - Free PTA sponsored event which includes games,                                      prizes, a DJ and more.  Many volunteers are needed                                to help run event.

Spirit Wear -       PTA fundraiser.  Volunteers are needed to help                                       coordinate the sale and distribution of Paumanok                                     merchandise.

Hospitality –   Volunteers are needed to help set up and serve                                        refreshments at various meetings and events.

Photo Day -    Volunteers are needed to help coordinate and                                          distribute school pictures.

Book Fairs -   PTA fundraiser.  Scholastic book fair.  Volunteers(Fall/Spring)        are needed to help students make selections, set up                                  clean up.

Thanksgiving Pies - PTA Fundraiser.  Volunteers are needed to                                             coordinate orders and help with distribution.

Holiday Boutique - PTA fundraiser.  Holiday gifts for students to                                        purchase.  Volunteers are needed to help students                                    make selections and set-up and clean-up.

PNO -      Paumanok's Night Out is our biggest fundraiser of                                  the year.  Many volunteers are needed to coordinate                               every aspect of this event. (donations, baskets etc.)

Beautification -     Programs to improve school grounds.  Volunteers                                      needed to determine and implement projects.

After School -      Various extra-curricular after-school workshops                                     for Paumanok students.  Volunteers are needed to                                    run workshops.

Blood Drive - Volunteers needed to help coordinate annual blood                                   drive.

PARP -     People As Reading Partners promotes a reading                                       partnership between home and school.                                                     Volunteers are needed to coordinate many aspects                                   of this program.

Curriculum Night - Paumanok's big night to showcase students' work.                             Volunteers are needed to help with planning,                                            decorating, set-up and clean-up.

WINGO -      Free event.  BINGO night at Paumanok.  Volunteers                                 needed to help coordinate and run event.

Yearbook –    Volunteers are needed to help collect yearbook                                       photos, information and coordinate printing and                                       distribution.

Spring Plant Sale -PTA fundraiser.  Volunteers needed to coordinate                                    the sale and distribution of plant orders.
